The supplied two bar charts provide data on the monthly amount of a number of categories of books which a local library lent between 2007 and 2008. Overall, the figures unravel a noticeable shift in the borrowing patterns by the users of the library with interesting on genres particularly like science-fiction or romance markedly increasing, simultaneously, at the expense of the fiction category. By contrast to those changes, there are some positions which did not suffer any variation at all; crime and non-fictions are a good illustration of this fact. Examining firstly the bar chart concerned with 2007, it can be infer from the numbers, that by far the most famous category in that year was fiction with 30% borrowings. In addition, there were two more types that won readers' attention, that is, crime and romance with 20 and 15 percentage borrowing per month. The rest of genres, however, had fewer borrowings that the said areas with proportions ranging between 5 and 10%. As for 2008, the biggest difference occurred in romance which increased to twice as much as its initial figures from 15% to 30%, becoming at the same time the most borrowed section taking the place of fiction which diminished dramatically by 15%. Similarly to the latter, the position of other miscellaneous books decreased to half the amount it had compared to 2007, whereas crime and non-fiction remained static at 20% and solely 5%, consecutively.
