The bar chart illustrates holiday accommodation among people who lived in England, Scotland, Wales Northern Ireland in the year 2010. Overall, it is clear that living in hotel was the most popular choice among British residents, in contrast, the lowest figure belonged to camping in all cities. As can be seen from the chart, nearly 55% of respondents to the survey in England and Scotland preferred hotels, nearly two times as much as that of self-catering. However, the opposite tendency could be seen in the figures for caravan and camping, accounting for around 5% and just over 10% respectively in England while people living in Scotland had a tendency towards caravan (10%) than camping (5%). Regarding the survey result in Northern Ireland, well over a third of the preferences went on caravan, the opposite was true for Wales (under 10%). There was just roughly 10% of residents in both cities choosing camping in 2010. Meanwhile, in Scotland, the figure of caravan selections is approximately 30%, more than twice this figure in Northern Ireland of survey participants selecting them.
