The chart below shows the results of the survey of people who visited four types of tourists attraction in Britain in 1999

The glance at the pie chart provides statistics on people who visited four categories of tourist attractions in Britain in 1999, whereas the table illustrates five popular British theme parks in the same period. In common, the highest proportion was Theme parks occupied by 38% and Blackpool was the favorite destination with 47%, whilst Wildlife Parks & zoos accounted for the least proportion (9%). Firstly, Theme parks occupied more than one-third of all traveller attractions, Museums & Galleries followed by the second (37%). The third was Historic houses & monuments amounting to 16%. By contrast, Wildlife parks & zoos were the least favorite destination of visitors in Britain. Furthermore, the results depicts a noticeable point that Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland, Windsor were at the same level with 10%. However, Alton Towers and Pleasureland, Southport had 17% and 16% respectively.
