The pie chart conveys the results of a survey conducted in 1999 about four main tourist attractions in Britain. Prominent tourists locations were- Historic houses & Monuments, Museums & galleries, Theme parks, Wildlife parks and zoos. Along with this, we are provided with a table about the proportion of people visiting Theme parks. Parks and zoos were the least visited spots at 9 per cent only followed by Historical monuments at 16 per cent. It appears that people are extremely enthusiastic about arts, considering Museums and galleries were the second-most toured site at 37 percent. There are a plethora of theme parks in Britain, among which, the Blackpool pleasure beach and Alton Towers comes across as the most popular ones with the number of people exploring them to be 47% and 17% respectively. Overall, Theme parks seem to be the preferred choice of tourists with 38 per cent of people visiting them given the thrill for adventure and excitement in their lives.
