The bar graph demonstrates the proportion of the men, women and children who consumed the suggested day to day quantity of fruits and vegetables in three different years in the UK. Overall it is readily apparent that women came out first in the more consumption of fruits and vegetables while children followed the opposite trend. To begin with, the ratio of females who ate vegetables and fruits in the year 2002 was 25%. The rate witnessed an increase of 7% in the next 4years (32% in 2006). Nevertheless, the amount declined and reached to 27 per cent in the last year, 2010. Similarly, the men observed the same pattern as the women. The percentage of males consuming the fruits and vegetables was less than 3 per cent than that of females in 2002. Additionally the rate rose to 28% in 2006 and decreased by 4% in the final year. Conversely, the healthy foods were least preferred by the children. In the beginning of the year 2002, only 11% of children favoured fruits and vegetable, half as much as that of men and women in the same year. However, it showed a slight growth of 5% in the following 4years but fall again by 2% in the last final year, 2010.
