Overall, it can vividly seen that, check was most appropriate payment techniques for users. However, the least preference was given to debit card over a four-year period. Moving to the details, it is apparent that, initiating around 13% of debit cards were utilized by people whereas, in remaining years rate of debit cards decreased continuously and reached till almost 9%. Further, during 2002 ratio of cash was recorded for merely 34% while, it plunged rapidly and remained stable at 24% in 2004 later, it escalated moderately in 2005. Probing further, the proportion of check and credit cards in 2002 was identical which was portrayed around 27%. Apart from this, during 2003 payment method used for check and credit cards was 30% and 31% respectively. Moreover, usage of check by people between 2004 and 2005 remained the same on the contrary, for credit cards it showed decreasing trend.
