Boys enjoyed playing computer games stood at a little above 80%, while the girls' figure was significantly lower, at a modest 2%. Male going to the gym stood a little over 40%, which was around 3% higher than females.
On the other hand, the participation in the remaining free time activities was higher for the female gender in the US. Approximately 75% was the figure on shopping for women, whilst the rate of the boys was about 50% lower. As for listening to music, girls and boys stood respectively 25% and roughly 28%.
Meanwhile, going out with friends) was equally popular among young men and women, with slightly more or less than 70% of participants.
However, only a quarter of respondents listened to music in their leisure time, while there were few people who chose reading as a pastime activity (under 10%).
