The graph illustrates the proportion of full driving licences in Great Britain by different age categories and sex in the year of 1975/76 and 2006. Overall, it can be seen that there is an increase in the number of full car driving license holders in the year of 2006 as compared to 1975/76, except two exceptions, which are in the age category of 30-39 and 21-29 in men. Regarding the males of Great Britain, a significant amount of increase is observed over the comparision of two years. While 17-20 years age group being the least affected domain, the age group of 70 and over witnessed a great surge, which was from around 30% in 1975/76 to nearly 80% in 2006. The highest percentage of nearly 90% is seen in the year 2006 from the age group of 50-59 and slightly lower than it in 60-69 years age group. On the other hand, talking about females of Great Britain, figures have drastically increased over the two years in almost every age group. As a matter of fact, nearly three age groups have almost touched 80% line in 2006, which are 30-39, 40-49 and 50-59. Moreover, the domain of 60-69 is seen to have skyrocketed, that is, from a little less than 20% to over more than 60%.
