The chart below shows the number of trips made by children in one country in 1990 and 2010 to travel to and from school using different modes of transport.

The bar chart elaborates the number of trips of using transport by children, who are aged between 5 years to 12 years, in the purpose of going to and returning from school. This shows the range of trips used by children of a country from 1990 to 2010. In this chart, we can see 5 categories of vehicles that children used for their trips. In 1990, it is clearly evident that walking, which was used by more than 12 million children, is followed as a significant transport mode in comparison to other transports. It is different for the case of 2010, because they have shifted their transport mode to the category of car passenger followed by almost 12 million children. It is appeared that the care passenger category was the lowest section used by 4. 2 million children in 1990 and cycling is the highest category used by 2 million children in 2010. In this circumstance, it is clearly demonstrated that the category of walking on the bus has decreased dramatically by the reduction from 12 million users to 6 million and the lessening rate of the category of the bus was not very drastical by its decrease rate from 6. 5 million users to 5. 5 million.
