According to a survey conducted on the number of males and females in Britain who opt for higher education, either full-time or part-time, is summarised in the above bar graph. Overall, it is clear that the highest number of male individuals who are enrolled full-time, was in the year 1970, However, regarding female individuals, the highest number of full-time enrolment was reported in the year 1990s. On the other hand, in case of part-time education, both the genders saw a relatively higher number of enrollment in the year 1990. In case of men, more and more students preferred to study part-time over the years as compared to full-time where the total number of students has decreased slightly from 1970 to 1980, followed by a slight increase afterwards. In case of women, a significant increase in the number of enrollment can be seen in both full-time as well as part-time education and this number is only going to increase further.
