The graph illustrates the number of people moving from rural to urban areas in Iran, Indonesia, and Russia. There were significant upward trends in all three countries during the period. For Iran, less than 10 million people move from suburb area to urban area during 2000 to 2005. Then, the number of people moving increased notably and steadily to approximate 80 million people in 2020. Moreover, it is predicted that the number of people will continue rising and reach the peak at 95 million people in 2025. Likewise, there was a remarkable upward trend in the number of people moving in Russia. In 2000, around 15 million people moved from rural area to urban area. The number of people increased steadily and moderately to 43 millions in 2010, 70 millions in 2015, and 80 millions in 2020. In 2025, it is predicted that the number will continue to increase. For Indonesia, 10 million people moved from rural to urban areas in 2000. Then, the number rose steadily but slightly to 30 millions in 2020. The number of people moving is assumed to remain the same until 2025. Overall, the number of people in three countries moving to urban areas increased notably during the period.
