The bar chart shows the difference between the amount of free time according to sex and employment status during 2 years. It is clear from the chart that the figures for men’s leisure time are higher in the 3 types of employment status. By contrast, there are only females who have free time in two other categories. Looking closely, we can see that the amount of leisure time in a typical week for unemployed people and people who are retried is the same. It reaches about 85 hours for men and 75 hours for women. Moreover, these figures are the highest. Looking at figures for housewives and employed part time individuals, it is clear that men in this category do not have any leisure time at all. While women in this categories have about 50 and 40 hours respectively. Full time employed females have the lowest amount of rest which is about 38 hours per week. Men in this employment status have a little more free time – about 48 hours.
