The bar chart illustrates three issues (wellness services, schools and training, and air pollution) that were faced by inhabitants in seven UK cities including: London, Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, Belfast, and Newcastle in 2008.
Overall, it is clear from the chart that Belfast was facing the most problems regarding to health services and education, while the least percentage of air pollution was in Newcastle. Furthermore, health services were facing the highest issues compared to air pollution which was the smallest issue in all the cities.
With regards to health services problems, Belfast had the highest proportion at nearly 60 percent followed by Cardiff. In contrast, Glasgow had the lowest percentage around 47%. Moreover, people report issues of education and training are slightly above 50 percent for the cities of Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow and London.
On the other hand, air pollution was considered a minor issue, remained at less than 10% for the majority of cities, including Newcastle, Belfast, Birmingham and Glasgow. However, in Cardiff, Manchester and London it reported to be at approximately 13 to 15 percent, which is slightly higher than other regions.
