The chart demonstrates the details of charitable amounts in percentage donated by the British population by age ranges for two years. To begin with, there has been a noticeable surge in donations when considered the age range 18 to 50 in the year 1990 and a gradual decrease in the percentage of charitable donations by people above 50. On the other hand, the donations in the year 2010 depict slight fluctuation, that is, growth for the age range 18 to 65 and a fall in percentage when people above 65 are observed. In 1990, humans belonging to 36 to 50 has donated 42% of the money which is the crescendo in the chart and people in the age range 18 to 25 donated the least. While these figures fell sharply to as low as 35% and 7% respectively in 2010. The amount rose from 35% to nearly 40% among 51 to 65 when the two years are compared, which was the apex for the year 2010. While the donations by people over 65 was lower than this but was higher than that of donations made by juveniles belonging to the age group 18 to 25. To recapitulate, the overall charity was greater in 1990 than that of in 2010 and there was a notable change in the pattern of the donations by people who were in the age bracket above 50.
