The chart represents the population status in the country of Japan for every five years from 1950 to 2055. It has increased and decreased over the years. There is table with data about the number and percentage of people with 65 years and above. Population in Japan in the year 1950 was 84. 1 million, which has kept increasing over the years until 2000. From the years 2005 to 2015 we can notice that there is not much difference in the rate of population. However, it is decreased to 89. 9 million by the end of 2055. Overall, on comparing the start and end of the mentioned years, the population has been the similar. When we look to the aged population in Japan, in 1950 it is recorded that 4. 9% of the population are 65 years and above. It is increased to 20% by the end of 2005 and another 14% is added for the year 2035 and by the end of 2055 it is 41 percent. So, according to the data represented, the Japan’s population will be decreased by the end of 2055 and most of them will be aged above 60 years.
