The following bar chart illustrates the export earnings of various product during the years 2015-2016 and the relevant table depicts the percentage of changes in each category in 2016 compared with 2015. Overall, there is a significant rise in export earnings in 2016 compared to 2015 expect for Gems and jewellery. In 2015, the export earnings from petroleum products are 60 billion US dollars and the same year the earnings from Engineered goods are slightly less to be around 58 billion US dollars. The subsequent year, the earnings rose gradually to 63 billion for petroleum products and 61 billion for engineered goods. On the other hand, export earnings on Agricultural products grew slightly from 31 billion to 32 billion by 2016. Furthermore, Textile export rose dramatically from 25 billion to 31 billion by 2016. During the same period, export earnings from Gems and jewellery has fell drastically from 44 billion to 41 billion in 2016. By 2016, the value of Textiles has grown significantly to 15. 24% and the value of Engineered goods have also rose to 8. 5%. During the same time, the value of petroleum products increased by 3% and agricultural products by 0. 81% which is negligible. On the contrary, the value of gems and jewellery has reduced by 5. 18%.
