The diagram show the stages by which bricks is been manufactured.
Overall, it can be seen that, there are total of 7 stages to get brick ready for use. Although the 1st two does not follow the process.
To begin, a heavy duty machine ( digger) will dig out clay from the soil, clay put on roller to grid the metal, this, reduce clay into smaller pieces then, water is added to form brick, from this point, brick can be cut by wire cutter or mould depending on the choice of the company before sending to dry oven for the next 24- 48 hours.
Furthermore, after drying, it been transfered to kiln for moderate heat which takes about 200 degrees to 980 degrees then moves to high heat of 870 degrees to 1300 degrees. Finally, brick is sent to cooling chamber lasting 48 to 72 hours then, packaging follows and last stage the delivery van carries it out of factory.
