The given bar chart compares how many calories UK men in 4 different age brackets in their life consume from various sources. Overall, while eaters aged 50 and plus take the most calories by eating seeds, that kind of food is not the younger generations’ preference. In addition, similarities can be seen in the figures for all generations consuming veggies. About 50% of male consumers falling in the age range of 25 to 49 tend to prefer eating meat to add calories, compared to only 20% of them in the period from newborn babies to 49 years old. Products made from milk account for the highest share of 0-to-24-year-olds’ diets, followed by the middle and older generations with around 25% and 15% in that order. As for pulses, whereas over 64% of old men enjoy eating seeds, only approximately 15% and 10% of consumers in the age group of 0 to 24 and 25 to 40 feel so. Regarding the rate of vegetables, the figure for the elderly is comparatively 10%, which is 5% and 10% lower than that of the youngest and middle generations respectively.
