The bar chart shows the participation of children in selected leisure activities in Australia

The bar graph gives the information about the numbers of Australian children of age between 5 to 14-years engaging in various activities such as skateboarding/ rollerblading, bike riding, watching TV/videos, electronic/computer games and art and craft during their free time. Overall, it clearly shows that young boys are more enrolled in timepass activities than young girls. However, both enjoy spending their day watching TV/ videos most at the same level. 40 per cent of young males make time for skateboarding or rollerblading and art and craft, these two segments are least enjoyed by them as compared to other segments. Additionally, they ride bike 10 per cent lesser than electronic or computer games with 80 per cent. Equally amount of girls and boys invest their time mostly on watching TV or videos. Austrian girls also prefer to spend their days riding a bike and playing electronic/ computer games. 60 per cent of them like to do these two activities. Over half of them enrolled in art and craft. Skateboarding/ rollerblading is the least time spent, that is only 30 per cent of them
