Another key feature is that the highest number of fiction book sales belonged to Romance in during the whole period from 2006 to 2008. Looking first at the quantity of Romance book sales, it started at 80 million USD. Before dropping significantly by 50 million USD in 2008, there was a sudden boom from 80 million USD to 120 million USD between 2006 and 2007. Finally, the figure for Romance book sales saw a slight rise of 15 million USD in 2010. Next kind of book, the number of Mystery book sales, it stood at nearly 60 million USD. After dramatically jumping to about 81 million USD in 2007, there was a substantial fall in the figure for Mystery book sales of 34 million USD in 2008. The period between 2008 and 2010 saw a minimal leat in the quantity of Mystery book sales of 4 million USD. As for the figure for Young Adult book sales, it stood at 30 million USD.
