The bar chart illustrates the number of student applications in 4 faculty areas (Biology, Engineering, Business, Social Work) in each period. Overall, in 1990 the Engineering department had the most application than other areas whereas Business was the most popular in 2000 and 2010. All areas had some fluctuations. In terms of Biology, in 1990 had 3000 student application while this number fell in half in 2000 and then it decreased to merely under 1000. Similarly, the Engineering department had the most number in 1990 which is exactly 4000 whereas it reduced to 2500 in 2000. Furthermore, Engineering had the least number of applications throughout the period which was about 600. On the other hand, the Business faculty had 2000 student applications in 1990. However, this number increased 1000 in 2000 and it rose to 4000 at the end of the period.
