The provided bar graph illustrates the percentage of travellers of an European town who used various methods to travel in three different years, 1960, 1980 as well as 2000. Overall, it is evident that popularity of car riding increased in given time period, while use of bus, bike and foot decreased in the same time. To begin with, in 1960, car was used by the least amount of people of an European metro which was 6%. In next 40 years, it noticeably rose and climbed to just over 40% of population. Apart from that, the highest number of persons preferred to travel by foot in 1960 which was just under 40%. These numbers significantly fell in following 40 years and reached to approximately 9% in 2000. On the other hand, the same trend was appeared for bike. The usage of bike was 26% in 1960 which showed dramatical declination and it was 7% in 2000. On the contrary, 16% proportion of citizens of an European metro travelled by bus in 1960. It slightly inclined in next 20 years and climbed to 26%. This trend decreased by 10% in 2000.
