Overall, it can easily be seen that the proportion of overweight and obese people has increased significantly from 1965 to 2015. Additionally, the pie chart reveals that in 2015 over 70% of adults were too heavy. According to the bar chart, the upturn in the percentage of overweight or obese people was negligible from 1965 to 1985. From 1985 to 1995 there was a vast increment from about 48% to around 60%. In the next ten-year period there was a comparable, slightly large boost. By 2015, approximately 75% of people weighed too fat.
