The bar chart illustrates the percentage of male ad female people having an alone life, with the pie chart giving information about how many bedrooms one-person accommodations have in the UK in 2011.
The most outstanding feature in these charts is that more women leaded a private life alone than men and one-person house including 2 bedrooms made up an overwhelming majority.
As can be seen from the first bar graph, in 2011, the proportions of from 16 to 24 and 50 to 64 year- old people having alone life in two genders are almost the same, about half of total each while more men falling into 25 to 49 age groups lived alone than women at the same age, with a massive 65%. By contrast, this figure gradually decreased when they were older, with only just nearly 40, 28 and 25 % in 65-74, 75-84 and 85 or more groups of ages respectively.
Turning to the second chart, the number of one-person homes which were equipped with 2 bedrooms made up the largest percentage with 35. 4%. This was followed by the proportion of houses having 3 and 4 bedrooms, at just under 32 % and 28 % respectively. Conversely, only a mere 1. 4% of people living alone had 5 bedrooms or more in their house.
