The bar chart illustrates how teenagers from Chester have chosen to spend their free hours over 6 years from 2002 to 2007. It can be observed that activities like going to pub, watching television, shopping have gained popularity and number of hours spent on them weekly have increased over the years. The weekly hours spent on pubbing have risen from 5 to 18. On the other hand, Activities like doing homework, playing sports, bowling have shown a dip. From about 12 hours weekly being spend on homework, it has come down to 6 hours weekly. However, Watching DVD remains a choice which shows fluctuations with increasing and decreasing interest of the teenagers. To conclude, it can be seen that the majority of teenagers choose to watch television in their leisure time whereas Bowling is the least preferred. The choice of most preferred has been consistently on top over the years where in teenagers chose to watch television for about 37 hours weekly by the year 2007.
