As can be seen from the chart, in 2000 Da Nang accounted for the highest growth proportion with 900, 000, approximately doubling that of Phu Quoc and three times higher than that of Mui Ne. However, during the following years, this noted attaction witnessed a decrease in its growth rate, down to 650, 000 in 2002 and only 500, 000 in 2004, after which it fell sharply to finish the period with 250, 000 people in 2006. Meanwhile, over the period from 2000 to 2006, Mui Ne experienced a constant rise in its figures, with the number reaching the highest point of about 950, 000 in 2006.
Regarding the other site, the number of tourists in Phu Quoc fluctuated between 550, 000 and 650, 000 during the period from 2000 to 2006. The figure climbed quickly and stood at 600, 000, then dropped slightly 550, 000 before reaching a peak of nearly 650, 000 in the last year.
