It is also noticeable that more male achieved their post-school degrees in skilled vocational diploma, postgraduate diploma and master's degree than female did, whereas more female attended undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree. In 1999, the highest of male percentage was recorded in skilled vocational diploma (90%), which was much higher than that of females ( only 10%). While the highest proportion of women in undergraduate diploma, with 70%, which was double compared to that of males. Likewise, more women had a bachelor's degree than males, with 53% and 46%, respectively. In term of the postgraduate diploma and master's degree, male were more predominating than females in the percentage with more 70% for men, 30% for women and 60% for men, 40% for females
