The 1974 Bilingual Education Policy is still activating and the Pilipino must love his native language although English is a globally spoken language. Language organizations such as Council of Department Chairpersons in English (CDCE), College English Teachers’ Association (CETA) and Language Society of Philippines (LSP) are continuing to be active in the section ELT of the country. The IT sector also conduct a favourable environment for English.
