The bar chart compares the frequency of eating at fast food restaurants among the US people in the years 2003, 2006 and 2013. Overall, most people, in 2003 and 2006, preferred to eat out at such restaurants once a week, while the percentage of them was outnumbered by those who ate junk food at a restaurant once or twice per month in 2013. In 2003, over 30% of fast food consumers in the USA ate once each week and this figure was the highest one and was slightly more than the second biggest category, which represented those used to monthly eat once or twice. Consumers eating several times a week and a few times per annum accounted for roughly 16% and 13% in turn. After three years, the proportion of fast food consumption at a restaurant in the country witnessed a slight rise at approximately one third for people eating once every week, while for the second highest it constituted a quarter of the total. Besides, there was a four-percent increase in the number of several-time visitors to fast food restaurants per week, and the percentage was 5 percent more than a few-time visits (15%) per year. In the year 2013, the frequency of eating fast food once or twice a month outnumbered of one-time weekly eaters, making up one third in total. In all three years, less than 5% of US citizens ate fast food on a daily basis and the equal number never consumed such food at a restaurant.
