It can be seen that the amount of money invested in Australia by all the given countries, except Thailand and Somalia, had experienced a significant rise by 2014 while Germany and New Zealand had become the largest investors of Australia during the same period. In 2011, Malaysia was considered to be the arch-investor of Australia channeling roughly 100 million dollars in the country. In stark contrast, Somalia invested the lowest amount of money with less than 25 million while other countries given in the graph made direct investments at around 75 million dollars. By 2014, New Zealand and Germany had taken over all the investing countries as the amount of money they invested in Australia had witnessed a continuous swell and reached its peak of nearly 220 million and 200 million dollars, respectively. At the same time, Australia had continued to receive more and more money from Malaysia and Mexico and obtained the same amount of around 140 million from each in 2014. Despite their growth by 2013, Somalia and Thailand returned back to the same amount in 2014 as they invested in 2011.
