The given maps illustrate the alterations of the seaside town called Portview between 1990 and 2010. Overall, the town had undergone a noticeable transformation after the construction takes place. According to the maps, it can be seen that there was a sea located to the wast, with the Elvin street running from the north to the south end which was connected to the Waterfront street to the wast. After development, by 2010, on the west side of the Elvin road, a previous shop and a Northside pier on the north side of the Waterfront stree remained unaffected, while the new shop and a Southside pier were added to the south. A car parking lot had been constructed to the North, while a cafe had relocated to the south end and its size was bigger. To the west side of the Elvin road, in 2010, the farmland to the west had gone to make way for an enormous park area, with there was a small footpath traversing the past from the northeast to the south. On the southeast of the park a swimming pool located in the same area on the contrary its size was smaller to make way for the other two swimming pools.
