The bar chart give information about the amount of students chosing six science-related subjects at the UK university in 2009. As can be seen from the chart, in five of six discipline, males outnumberer than females. The gap was particularly large in the field where there were five times as many male students than female students. The number of them studying biology was relatively equal. This was also true of medicine. Besides, veterical medicine was the only discipline which have women outnumbered men. Overall, this data indicates that at the university science-related continue to be male-dominanted. However, women have a significiant presence in fields which related to medicine and life sciences.
