The maps illustrate the developments that have taken place in the town of Denham from 1986 to the present days. Overall, the town has been more industrialized as the number of residential sides has increased in size alongside with the farming facilities from which it has moved away. One significant redevelopment that stands out is the extended housing to the east of the river stroke, the amount of which tripled in size, mainly, due to the removed farmland as well as the couple of shops, all of which used to be present in 1986. Although, the post office still remains untouched alongside with the bridge over the river stoke. Moreover, the gardens to the east of the town were removed, making place to some more houses. Also, a large house that used to stand beside the gardens was doubled in size and converted into the retirement home. The primary school to the north of it still stands there, however it has been expanded since 1986.
