The given pie charts represent the proportion of water usage in residents for five different purposes in year 1998 and 2008. Overall, it can be noticeable that water was used maximum for bathroom and washing chores, while least usage of water in kitchen which became a highest water used category over a period of two decades. A glance at first pie chart depicts that, in 1998, 25% usage of water went to washing which was shared highest proportion among rest. Followed by, 22% water had been consumed in bathroom. One-fifth of total water consumption accounted for gardening. The figure of kitchen and toilets were 15% and 18% respectively. Considering analysis of 2008 pie chart, over a period of 20 years, the proportion of water consumption in kitchen was doubled at around 29%.
