After this completes, the cleaned potatoes are moved into a peeler so that they are peeled of theirs skin and starch. When done, they are moved onto a bucket conveyor to enter the slicer to become flat slices of potatoes. On the way out, then they are air-dried on a flat bed conveyor before entering the Deep frying stage in which they are cooked well into chips. Finally, after this cooking step finishes, crispy and well cooked slices of potatoes are salted by a salter above the conveyor belt.
