The given map illustrate the development of a small town name Tarnagul near Melbourne over a period of time. The map clearly depicts that the unused space has been utilized in 2000 as compared to 1900. There are significant changes in the development of the town; however, the road remains unaltered over the period. On the contrary, the tracks which were developed in 1950 were removed in the year 2000. The area next to the left of the river continuously changed in every 50 years. It was utilized as Dairy in 1900, for growing Lemon and Grapefruit in 1950 and was later used for Wildlife Sanctuary in 2000 accordingly. Coming to the remaining map, it clearly shows that in 1900, oranges were grown in the north of Town Area and Mandarins in the south. Over the period of 50 years the area where oranges were grown was utilized for growing oranges. Also, the town area had grown in that period. Major changes in the development of town occured in the year 2000. The area to the north of town area which was utilized for growing oranges for a century was left unused in 2000, whilst the area used by packing sheds was utilized by local museum and craft market in the year 2000.
