summarize the info about the households in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011

The given bar chart shows the percentage of people living in owned and rented accomdations between 1918 and 2011 in England and Wales. The dark color represents percentage of households living in rented accomdations and the light color represents the households in owned accomdations. In the given time period we can clearly see the trend that people wanted to live in their own house rather than being in a rented one. There was a steady decrease in percentage of people who lives in rented places after 1918 and it declined very rapidly after 1971 until 2011 when there was an slight uptick. The year 1971 is a very unique year because both the percentage of people living in rented and owned accommdations were equal. The data clearly shows that many wanted to live in their own space but in 2011 that number drops a bit and the rented percentage increases a little, this maybe possible because of the 2008 financial crisis that might have led some people to sell their house. If people didn't bounce back from that we might able to see a decrease in number of people living in own house and increase in rented one after the year 2011.
