The Bar Chart illustrates how many research students, categorized by gender studying six different subjects(linguistics, psychology, natural sciences, engineering, programming, mathematics) at a US University in 2011. Overall, the number of male students are higher than female students in the given period. Both types of gender have an exact number of students and also highest in natural science. Moreover, boys have the same count in mathematics and psychology as natural science, whereas both genders preferred mathematics and linguistics as least priority subjects. In terms of Natural science, Both male and female have an equal count of 200 students. Similarly, 200 boys choose their interested subject as psychology and mathematics, whereas the number of women are slightly less than boys(around 170) in psychology. Furthermore, the most significant difference in mathematics subject among both genders (approximately 40 girls). On the other hand, 150 male research students opted for engineering and programming subjects while approximately 90 and 75 female students selected engineering and programming. Finally the number of girls are slightly more than the number of boys around 110 and 80 in Linguistics research subjects.
