On this diagram illustrates the stages of processing aluminum beverage cans, which consists of seven stages: sorting cans in the collection center, the remelting process at the processing plant, where new aluminum is formed, and where new cans are produced and ready for sale again.
Initially, in the collection center, used beverage cans are placed in the trash, then they are sorted into aluminum and steel. After that, the sorted cans are sent for processing, where they are crushed into cubes ready for melting. Then, the cubes of old aluminum melt at high temperatures and turn into bars of new aluminum.
Once these bars are made, they are formed into thin sheets and rolled into a roll. Subsequently, this rolled aluminum is used to create new beverage cans. After their creation, they are ready to be filled with drinks and sent to supermarkets and shopping malls for consumption. Then, the whole process is repeated anew
