There are two charts shown. The first chart compares the portion of cultures and education spent government in 1995 and 2005, and the second one is about the number of participants joined in Arts Events in the same years.
At the first graph, there were 4 types of education and it can be clearly seen that there were significant changes in each category from 1995 to 2005. In the year 1995, music was the biggest portion than others and was almost a half of the total parts. The following portions were visual arts and theater in which theater was slight different of its portion with visual arts. Lastly with small slice was literature. In 2005, however, both theater and music had similar portion, it was not more than third-fourth each. Moreover, visual arts and literature had similar part and if both were calculated, then the total of portions would not similar as theater.
Turning at the second graph, there was a dramatic rise in all types of arts events (except visual arts). In fact, the highest number of people joined particular event was music in the year 1995 and 2005, about 125, 000 and 150, 000 respectively. The second biggest one was theater where in both years were just under 100, 000. Visual arts and literature, however, were not over than 50, 000 of participants. From 1995 to 2005, the total of participants decreased slightly.
