In overall view, the average house prices in 1989 were higher in most cities, then these prices started rising in 1996-2002. In years between 1990, and1995, and as compared to year 1989, Tokyo, London, and New York witnessed a decrease in the average prices, by 7percent for both London, and Tokyo, and 5 percent in New York. On the inverse trend, Madrid, and Frankfurt, show an increase in the average house prices by 2, and 4 percent respectively.
