The bar chart illustrated the variation in the cost of a litre of milk at three different stores from 2010 to 2014. Unit 2013, each supermarket had a gradual growth in milk's prices, while 2014 had a slight decrease. Moreover, in the first two years Valuestore and Buycheap were the supermarkets with the highest price of milk, while in the last three years Supergoods became the most expensive. A data analysis shows that 2010 was the year with cheapest milk's prices for all the supermarkets, with a minimum cost of 46 British pence and a maximum of 50. In the following year Buycheap and Valuestore's prices grew considerably, reaching both the level of 52 British pence. Valuestore prices from 2011 on remained stable, whereas the cost of milk at Supergoods rose significantly to 62 British pence in 2012 and 2013. Last year was characterised by a steady fall of milk's cost and in 2014 each store had prices lower than 58 British pence. To conclude, the cost of a litre of milk fluctuated considerably during these years but there always were one supermarket with the cheapest level of prices.
