The following represents the data pertaining to the daily nutrient intake of an average person in the USA across various meal categories taken throughout the day. These categories include Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner.
The graphical representation consists of three pie charts. Each depicts the amount of a specific nutrient in every meal category expressed in terms of a percentage value.
The first chart shows the sodium intake throughout the day and can be described in the descending order as follows:
43% of sodium at dinner, 29% at lunch, 14% at breakfast, and 14% in snacks.
Similarly, the consumption of saturated fats varies as 37%, 26%, 21%, 16% at Dinner, Lunch, Breakfast, and, Snacks respectively.
In contrast with the decreasing trend for the other two nutrients, the percentage of sugar is 42%, 23%, 19%, and 16% in snacks, Dinner, Lunch, and breakfast in that order.
