The bar chart above provides information on the number of passengers arriving in the three major airports in New York, namely John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark ranging from 1995 to 2000. Generally, there is an increase of visitors visiting these 3 airports throughout the period except for the case of John F. Kennedy airport which descended in the year 1998 to 1999. Among the 3, LaGuardia was the most popular as it had the highest number of travellers based on the data shown. In 1995, there were approximately 35 million people who arrived at LaGuardia airport. The figure had risen steadily each year until 2000. On the contrary, Newark had the lowest number of visitors, where there were only an estimated 15 million travellers bypassing it in 1995. However, the numbers each year ascended until 1998, then the proportion remained constant until 2020. In second place, John F. Keneddy had 25 million passengers visiting it in 1995. The numbers rose to its peak in 1997 with 45 million, and then had a decline until 1999. It is seen that John F. Kennedy airport received the least amount of people in 1998 and 1999. Overall, it can be concluded that LaGuardia is the busiest and most visited airport, while Newark is the least favourite among visitors.
