Number of Japanese tourists travelling abroad

The number of Japanese vacation abroad for decace started from 1985 to 1995 and Australia's share Japanese tourist market were shown in charts bellow. At 1985, only five millions of Japanese traveling out of country and steadly increasing for about five years. One year after, it slightly drop and then rising up to 15 millions in 1995. Similar with the growth of Japanese with arrange their vacation out of country, percentage of Japanese visiting Asutralia also increase. Starting with 2 per cent in 1985, it continuasly grown reaching 4. 8 per cent 1989. Small reduction showed between 1988 to 1989, but it up again until reach 6. 1 per cent at 1993. However, the percentage of visit slightly drop again to 6% at 1994. In conclusion, the desire of Japanese to traveling to foriegn country was increasing from 1985 to 1995, consquntly, the number of Japanese visiting Autralia in the same period was increased. These data will be important for Australia government improving it provotion in Japan.
