The diagram illustrates some differences and similarities in recycling process of glass and plastic. Overall, the processes have more differences than similarities, especially significant difference in beginning steps of these processes. But, both recycling processes involves 5 main stages. First of all, both collections of glass and plastic are transported to recycling centre. After that, glass is sorted by color, while plastic is sorted by thicness and quality. At second stage of the process, sorted glass is crashed in a machine, but plastic must be bundled, before shredding process. Next step of both process is similar, namely crushed glass and shredded plastic are washed in order to final stage. At final stage of process, washed tears of glass and plastic are melted and reshaped in almost same way. Slight difference of this step is that, melting and reshaping processes of glass are done in separate machines, while this process of plastic is done by the same machines.
