German: I have been taking German classes since my freshman year of high school. Initially, I was not very interested in learning German. My relationship with German used to happen in the classroom only. After a while, my German grades started to suffer. Thus, I had an aversion to it at some point in my life. However, during the online education term in my Junior year, I started to need to learn a third language. Then I saw one of my acquaintances learning German. I realized that it was very similar to English. More interestingly, it looked fun to learn. That day, I decided to start learning German with my intention. I knew Duolingo is the best and most fun way to learn a language, so I downloaded it and started to learn German. Soon, I noticed that I understand and think in both English and Turkish better as I learn German. This had happened to me when I started to learn English. This is one of my favorite aspects of learning foreign languages. I still practice German through Duolingo, and I very enjoy it. I am on the pre-intermediate level in German now. I love learning foreign languages. I love the way it makes me see the world through a broader window. I love the way it brings new opportunities. I have benefited a lot from it since the first day I started to learn my first foreign language. So I want to learn more languages in the future.
