Overall, majority of people stayed on island until 2015. Then they preferred to stay in cruise ships. In 2011, same number of visitors stayed in both the staying options is same. Considering people staying in island, From 2010 we encountered with a plateau for one year and then it increased to a high of 1. 5 million in 2013. Again we see a period of stability till 2015. Then the graph fluctuated and settled to 1. 5 million in 2017. In view of tourists staying in cruise ships, the graph showed opposite behaviour to graph of island residing people. And finally, it stayed at 2 million in 2017.
In sum, the number of the people visiting island is increased from 2010 to 2015, after that we see a slip back in 2016 and it reaches peak with 3. 5 millions in 2017.
