in the 2030, climate change will affect farming more strongly. jRVXL
The graph shows the impact of climate change on crop and pasture yields which are likely to decline in the 4 sub-continental regions of the world in the future decades. An interesting fact seen is New Zealand accounts for the decline of pasture for beef and dairy products, unlike other continents where wheat, rice, and beans show a major decline. Overall, in North-East Brazil the fall of food and wheat crops remained relatively constant at 14%. Whereas, maize production fell by nearly 10% in the future. In Central America, food crops decreased drastically and stayed at 10%. Wheat crops accounted for just 1 percent less than the rice ones and beans had a decrease of 4%. In East Africa, maize cultivation was reduced to 3%, although beans diminished at just half the rate of the maize crops. Also, New Zealand only showed a slight fall in the pastures and milk products by 4%. As the small-scale producers with fewer assets will need most support to adapt to climate change
