The given line graph provides information about various crimes that took place in Manchester city between 2003 to 2012. Overall, there was a significant reduction seen in burglaries whereas there was a definite rise in number of stolen motor vehicles in the same timeframe. As can be seen in 2003, the number of burglaries registered were highest with little less than 3500. However, there was a steep rise seen in the given numbers reaching at around 3700 in the year 2007. In the following four years, this crime was successfully controlled with a massive decline in these cases in 2008 at just above 1000. Although, there was a slight growth in these felonies in 2009(1500); nevertheless, it remained almost at the same level till 2012. Regarding car thefts the number of vehicles stolen in 2012 was approximately 3400 were higher as compared to the quantity of cars stolen in 2003 with around 2300. On the other hand, it can be seen robbery had been almost at the same level (just slightly above 500 )with some fluctuations in the given period.
